She is the co-founder of Get Rich Entertainment Inc., a prominent Bay Area hip-hop label in the early 2000s, and Connecting the Dots, Inc., a nonprofit committed to reducing youth violence and incarceration through educational programs that promoted personal achievement. Currently, she is the founder of Aretha Star Property Management, LLC providing housing solutions to landlords and tenants, and offering consultation for those interested in homeownership.
